RECYCLING 101

Recycling is the process of taking a product at the end of its useful life and using all or part of it to make another product. The internationally recognized symbol for recycling includes three arrows moving in a triangle. Each arrow represents a different part of the recycling process, from collection to re-manufacture to resale.

But what does all this have to do with you? Well, recycling is a simple way that you, as a consumer, can help out the environment, create a profitable market for recycled goods and help preserve natural resources from being depleted. So... let's get involved!

During the Race I walked around a little to take pictures, when I came by this black Dragster.
I asked the owner if I could take a picture and he answered "yes, of course". Than he asked he "have you ever sat in one?", I said "no" and two seconds later I sat inside the Dragster.
Dragster are really loud... and really really fast....

Link of the week: TreeHuggerBoxes

TreeHuggerBoxes in Dallas, Texas is a relatively new business that focuses of repurposing boxes. They have a great website and business model that provides a unique and green way to buy, sell and repurpose corrugated boxes. They do not have a store front and do all their business via the web - an underutilized concept in business today. TreeHuggerBoxes has a small operating footprint serving the local Dallas area.

Baby-Ducks

Today we found some ducks at Tractor Supply and bought two little yellow ones. They are so cute. They just moved into their temporary home in our house. It is still too cold outside and they will be with us as long as possible. (The picture shows the ducks in the box we got from Tractor Supply... not their new home)

Our new old "Reimann-Mobil"

Last Friday we bought a new project. The new "REIMANN-MOBIL" :-)
We had to drive 5 hours to the South. The inside is empty, so we got it for a good price. And we want to do the interior by ourself anyways.
The bus is a 1975.
Thank you Robin! For finding this bus for us!!!!

Olive Garden

After eating at already several different restaurants, we went to Olive Garden.
We loved it! Their Salad and Breadsticks are awesome!
And they don't have any plastic cups (I hate Plastic!!!), they have real glasses!
We had Lasagne and Chicken Alfredo and it was very good!
We are definitely going again!

Movienight

Last Saturday was Movie night at the Reimanns House!
No, not in the one we live... in our new house - Haus Hamburg!
We trowed in some cusions and pillows into our Fitnessroom... had candy... made Popcorn (sweet, of course!) and watched "Surfer, Dude" and "Pineapple Express".
It was a lot of fun!

Suchbild: Where is Miss Molly?

Who can find Miss Molly?????

There she is... at our neighbors property! Digging holes in the ground... oh may... I hope they will never figure out that she just likes their gras more than ours!
The Gras is always greener on the other side ;-)

Our first GUN-SHOW

We went to our first Gun-Show in Fort Worth.
Because it wasn't allowed to take any pictures inside, we took a picture outside at one of the signs, holding containers with Ammunition we bought there.
It was like a different world to us! Guns, Rifles, Pistols, ... wherever we looked. They had around 2000 tables and it looked like a Flea Market... just with different things ;-)

Jasons 20th Birthday

This is Jasons favorite cake I always make for his birthday:
Giotto-Torte
My "Baby" is 20 now! I can't believe it!

"Cars" was his Birthday-Theme :-)

Valentines Day Strawberries

We don't usually celebrate Valentines Day, because like my husband uses to say: our Valentines Day is every day :-)
I made some chocolate covered strawberries.
yummy....
